Google Analytics Privacy Policy
Description of Service:
Google Analytics (hereinafter also referred to as “Analytics”) is a statistics service provided by Google Inc. whose head office is located at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States.
Analytics allows us to keep track of access to the Site. It enables the Site administrators to generate and view data in aggregate and anonymous form to understand and generate statistics on how visitors use the Site.
Sources of personal data:
To function, Analytics requires the presence of a so-called tracking code on the Site’s pages. The purpose of this code is to identify, for the purposes outlined below, the pages you visit during your browsing session on the Site.
In addition to the pages visited, the data collected may also include, by way of example but not limited to, the domain names and browser type of the computers used to connect to the Site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, parameters regarding the operating system and the computer environment used.
These data do not allow, in any case, your identity to be determined due to their nature and the way they are processed and are therefore to be considered anonymous.
Methods of data processing
The processing of the collected data is managed by Google Inc. by means of computerised and telematic tools with logic strictly related to the purposes outlined below and, in any case, in such a way as to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the data.
Google Analytics uses cookies to operate the Site. The information generated by the cookies about your use of the Site is transmitted to Google and stored on its servers in the United States.
In relation to the purposes described below, the data are therefore aggregated with other data collected from other visitors to the Site. Their processing does not allow the User’s identity to be known or traced in any way.
In any case, Google will not associate the IP address with any other data held by the User unless the User uses other services offered by Google that provide for such association and for which you have accepted the privacy policy prepared by Google. In any case, the aforementioned association and the use of the aforementioned services are to be considered unrelated to the use or browsing of this Site, whose data controller or other person in charge of the processing does not have direct or indirect access to the data collected and/or processed by Google on that occasion.
Purpose of processing
The data collected in the manner described above are used by Google to evaluate your website use, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage.
Optional and compulsory
You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, but this may prevent you from using the full functionality of this website.
However, you cannot refuse the collection of your other data by the Google Analytics software. If you do not agree, in whole or in part, with its presence on the Site’s pages, please leave it and cease browsing immediately.
Persons or categories of persons who can access or become aware of the data
Your personal data is transferred to the servers of Google Inc. and processed there. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf.
The administrators of the Site or the Data Controller on the same cannot in any way connect the data collected with your identity, either directly or indirectly.
